Repeals Sections 2.5 and 2.5a of the Wildlife Code, which previously prohibited crossbow use for hunting wild birds and mammals.

Blanks out subsection (o) of Section 2.33, removing the prior restriction on crossbow use and allowing crossbows to be used in accordance with other provisions of the Wildlife Code.

Maintains all other existing hunting prohibitions and regulations related to firearms, ammunition, hunting methods, and safety requirements.

Permits crossbow hunting during archery seasons as may be established by administrative rule or other sections of the Wildlife Code.
