Licenses for Type I and Type II meat and poultry establishments no longer expire as of July 1, 2018, provided the licensee remains in compliance with the Meat and Poultry Inspection Act.

Annual license fees for meat brokers, poultry brokers, and meat and poultry brokers are set at $50, with all fees being non-refundable.

Removed separate fee categories for Type I and Type II establishments, which previously charged $50 each for processors, slaughterers, or combined processor and slaughterer operations.

Changed references in Section 11 from "Regional Administrator" to "Department representative" regarding overtime inspection requests for weekend, holiday, or extended operations.

A $50 penalty is assessed if renewal license applications are not received by July 1 of each year, and establishment operations must cease until payment is received.
