Requires school personnel (counselors, teachers, social workers) working with grades 7-12 to receive training on identifying warning signs of mental illness and suicidal behavior in adolescents and teens, with training lasting at least 2 hours.

Mandates in-service training at least once every 2 years for school personnel on domestic and sexual violence, including how to communicate with and support youth victims and expectant or parenting youth.

Requires biennial in-service training on anaphylactic reactions and management for school personnel who work with pupils.

Requires school boards to conduct in-service training at least once every 2 years on educator ethics, teacher-student conduct, and school employee-student conduct for all personnel.

Authorizes optional training for school personnel on acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), including disease nature, transmission prevention, and counseling resources, with standards developed jointly by the State Board of Education and Department of Public Health.
