Amends the Health Care Services Lien Act to expand the definition of "health care provider" to include ambulatory surgical treatment facilities accredited by specified organizations.

Adds four specific accrediting organizations for ambulatory surgical treatment facilities: the American Association for the Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities, the Joint Commission, the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program, and the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.

Maintains existing categories of health care providers including licensed hospitals, home health agencies, licensed ambulatory surgical treatment centers, long-term care facilities, and emergency medical services personnel.

Applies changes retroactively to causes of action accruing on or after the effective date of this amendatory act of the 100th General Assembly.
