Requires all contracts for the sale of burial plots to be witnessed or attested by a notary public upon signing, as provided under the Illinois Notary Public Act.

Mandates that any changes to the designation of individuals to be buried in a burial plot must be authorized in a notarized instrument executed by a person with authority to make such changes and sworn or affirmed before a notary public.

Applies only to contracts executed after the effective date of the bill.

Amends Section 35-15 of the Cemetery Oversight Act (225 ILCS 411/35-15).
