HB3541 Summary

• Increases the income eligibility threshold for child care assistance to no less than 300% of the federal poverty level for each family size, beginning in State fiscal year 2018.

• Removes previous threshold requirements of 50% of State median income (through fiscal year 2007) and 185% of federal poverty level (beginning fiscal year 2008).

• Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
