IL HB3631

Adds new exemption from minimum wage requirements for employees of minor league professional baseball teams not affiliated with major league clubs if they are 28 years old or younger and work as players, managers, coaches, or athletic trainers.

Exemption applies only if the minor league team operates no more than 7 months per calendar year OR the team's average receipts for any 6-month period do not exceed 33 1/3% of its average receipts for the other 6 months of the year.

Amends Section 3 of the Illinois Minimum Wage Law (820 ILCS 105/3) to add this new employee exclusion category.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
