Exempts alternative retail electric suppliers from detailed supplier diversity reporting requirements in Section 5-117 of the Public Utilities Act, including subsections (c) through (f).

Allows alternative retail electric suppliers to satisfy reporting requirements by simply reporting the number of Illinois-based female-owned, minority-owned, veteran-owned, and small business enterprises they engage.

Permits alternative retail electric suppliers to submit their diversity reports on a confidential basis.

Effective immediately upon becoming law or when the provisions of Public Act 99-906 amending Section 5-117 take effect, whichever is later.
