Eliminates stipends and additional compensation for county officials (assessors, treasurers, coroners, sheriffs, recorders of deeds, clerks of circuit court, and auditors) whose terms of office begin on or after the effective date of this Act.

Removes $500 annual compensation for supervisors of assessments with Certified Assessing Evaluator certificates and $3,000 annual performance-based compensation for assessors meeting specific criteria.

Eliminates $5,000-$6,500 annual stipends previously paid to county treasurers, $6,500 stipends for coroners and sheriffs, and $4,500-$6,500 awards for county clerks and recorders.

Eliminates $6,500 annual stipends for county auditors and circuit court clerks hired on or after the effective date.

Effective immediately upon becoming law.
