Prohibits insurers from terminating hospital and medical coverage of dependent children with disabling conditions upon attainment of the policy's limiting age for dependents.

Requires the disabling condition to have occurred before the dependent reached the limiting age and make the person incapable of self-sustaining employment and dependent on parents or other care providers.

Defines "dependent on other care providers" as requiring residential services licensed or certified by the Department of Human Services, Department of Public Health, or Department of Healthcare and Family Services.

Allows insurers to inquire 2 months before or anytime after the limiting age whether a dependent has a disability and is dependent, with coverage continuing if no inquiry is made or proof is not submitted within 60 days.

Applies to accident or health insurance policies issued or renewed more than 60 days after the effective date.
