• Appropriates $15,326,492,574 total ($11,594,556,774 General Funds, $77,348,900 Other State Funds, $3,654,586,900 Federal Funds) to the Illinois State Board of Education and teacher retirement contributions for fiscal year beginning July 1, 2017

• Provides General State Aid payments to eligible school entities with priority given to ensuring minimum claims are met, then funding positive differences from prior year payments, then distributing remaining funds as Equity Grants

• Appropriates funds for special education services ($442.4M personnel reimbursement, $450.5M transportation reimbursement, $233M tuition), early childhood education ($443.7M), and various federal programs including Title I ($1.09B) and IDEA special education ($754M)
