Appropriates $1,395,400 from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Arts Council for operational expenses for fiscal year ending June 30, 2018

Appropriates $5,077,300 from the General Revenue Fund for grants and financial assistance to arts organizations, individual artists, underserved constituencies, and arts education programs

Appropriates $1,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund for administrative and grant expenses supporting visual arts, performing arts, languages, and related activities

Appropriates $2,012,000 from the General Revenue Fund for grants to public radio and television stations and related administrative expenses pursuant to the Public Radio and Television Grant Act

Appropriates $1,000,000 in federal funds for grants and programs to enhance the cultural environment, plus $417,000 as a grant to the Illinois Humanities Council

Takes effect July 1, 2017, only if Senate Bill 2063 of the 100th General Assembly (the Unbalanced Budget Response Act) becomes law
