Appropriates $12,928,300 total for Department of Labor operations for fiscal year beginning July 1, 2017: $6,410,100 from General Funds, $1,518,200 from Other State Funds, and $5,000,000 from Federal Funds.

General Revenue Fund allocation of $6,410,000 covers personal services ($4,968,900), Social Security contributions ($348,900), contractual services ($336,100), electronic data processing ($645,500), and other operational expenses including travel, equipment, and telecommunications.

Appropriates $446,800 from Amusement Ride and Patron Safety Fund for administering The Amusement Ride and Attraction Safety Act.

Appropriates $623,100 from Child Labor and Day and Temporary Labor Services Enforcement Fund and $348,300 from Employee Classification Fund for enforcement of child labor, temporary labor, and employee classification laws.

Appropriates $5,000,000 from Federal Funds ($2,000,000 and $2,970,000 from federal sources plus $30,000) for occupational safety and health administration state program costs.

Act takes effect July 1, 2017, only if Senate Bill 2063 (Unbalanced Budget Response Act) becomes law.
