Exempts veterans with disabilities from annual reapplication for property tax exemptions under Section 15-165 if they have maintained the same protected evaluation rating and disability level for 20 or more years from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, beginning in taxable year 2018.

Exempts veterans with disabilities from annual reapplication for homestead exemptions under Section 15-169 if they have held the same protected evaluation rating and disability level for 20 or more years from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, beginning in taxable year 2018.

Provides automatic annual certification by the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs for qualifying long-term disabled veterans instead of requiring manual reapplication, with certification forwarded to local assessing officials.

Applies the same 20-year rating stability exemption from annual reapplication to mobile home local services tax exemptions under Section 7.5, beginning in taxable year 2018.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
