Requires individual and group accident and health insurance policies and managed care plans amended, delivered, issued, or renewed after enactment to cover medically necessary hearing instruments and related services for individuals under age 18 when prescribed by a hearing care professional.

Limits coverage to one hearing instrument per ear every 36 months, with related services including audiological exams, fitting, and adjustment of ear molds covered when medically necessary.

Hearing instrument repairs may be covered when deemed medically necessary, subject to applicable co-payments, co-insurance, deductibles, and out-of-pocket limits.

Defines "hearing aid" as non-disposable, non-experimental wearable devices and attachments designed to aid impaired hearing, excluding batteries and cords.

Makes the coverage requirement inoperative if federal regulations require the State to defray costs for hearing instruments for individuals under age 18, except for coverage authorized under the Social Security Act.
