Guardians of the person must use reasonable efforts to notify ward's known adult children of hospital/hospice admission, death, and arrangements for disposition of remains if the children have requested notification and provided contact information.

Court may order guardians to permit visitation between wards and adult children, spouses, adult grandchildren, parents, or adult siblings if the guardian unreasonably prevents such visitation, applying best interest standards under the law.

Court shall deny visitation if the ward has capacity to evaluate and communicate decisions regarding visitation and expresses a desire not to have visitation with the petitioner.

Guardians may be authorized by court to file petitions for dissolution of marriage, legal separation, or declaration of invalidity of marriage on behalf of wards if court finds by clear and convincing evidence such relief is in the ward's best interests.

Guardians may be authorized by court to consent to ward's marriage on behalf of the ward if court finds by clear and convincing evidence the marriage is in the ward's best interests, and county clerks must accept such authorization for marriage licensing purposes.
