Creates the College and Career Interest Task Force under the Board of Higher Education to study methods for collecting and sharing high school student college or career interest data among Illinois public universities

Task Force membership includes one representative each from 12 public universities, plus representatives from the Board of Higher Education, Illinois Community College Board, Illinois Student Assistance Commission, State Superintendent of Education, regional education offices, school boards, principals, administrators, teachers, and various school districts and education advocacy organizations

Task Force members serve without compensation but may be reimbursed for reasonable and necessary expenses including travel, with the Board providing administrative support

Task Force must submit findings and recommendations to the General Assembly by January 30, 2019, after which the Task Force is dissolved

Act takes effect upon becoming law and the Task Force authorization repeals on July 1, 2019
