Amends Section 11-155 of the Property Tax Code to change water treatment facility certification requirements for tax purposes.

Requires qualifying water treatment facilities to be certified by providing the Department of Revenue with proof of a valid facility number issued by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency.

Removes the requirement that the Director of Natural Resources certify facilities and eliminates the provision that the Department of Revenue assess water treatment facilities.

Repeals Section 11-160 of the Property Tax Code concerning applications for approval as a water treatment facility.
