Amends the Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Administrative Act to require the Department of Human Services to submit quarterly written reports to the General Assembly beginning July 1, 2018.

Reports must include for each State-operated mental health center and developmental center: total number of employees, number of patient or resident-initiated workplace violence incidents, number of direct assaults on staff, and number of violent incidents staff responded to.

Requires reports to specify the number of employees impacted in each incident and calculate a workplace violence rate expressed as the ratio of total employees impacted to total employees.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
