Amends the School Code Section 22-80 to expand the definition of "physician" in concussion protocols to include chiropractic physicians licensed under the Medical Practice Act of 1987, in addition to physicians licensed to practice medicine in all its branches.

Allows chiropractic physicians to serve on school concussion oversight teams and participate in evaluating student athletes who may have sustained concussions during interscholastic athletic activities.

Enables chiropractic physicians to provide the medical clearance and written statements required before students can return to play and return to learn following a suspected concussion.

Applies to all interscholastic athletic activities sponsored or sanctioned by schools, the Illinois Elementary School Association, or the Illinois High School Association beginning with the 2016-2017 school year.
