HB5100 Summary

• Prohibits the Department of Healthcare and Family Services from adopting rules or contracts that deny reimbursement for dental encounters at eligible clinics when services are performed by individuals licensed to practice dentistry or dental hygiene under Illinois law.

• Applies to all eligible clinics providing dental services under the medical assistance program for otherwise qualifying beneficiaries.

• Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
