TANF grant amounts may not vary based on a recipient's county of residence, establishing uniform statewide benefit levels.

TANF grants increase to 30% of federal poverty guidelines on October 1, 2018; 40% on October 1, 2019; and 50% on October 1, 2020.

Beginning October 1, 2021 and each October 1 thereafter, TANF grants are annually adjusted to equal 50% of the most recent federal poverty guidelines for each family size.

Child-only assistance units must receive TANF grants of at least 75% of grants provided to assistance units of the same size with a caretaker relative and children.

The Act takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
