• Mandates coverage for licensed dietitian nutritionists and certified diabetes educators to counsel senior diabetes patients in their homes through telehealth to eliminate transportation barriers.

• Amends Illinois Public Aid Code to authorize the Department to provide telehealth services by licensed dietitian nutritionists and certified diabetes educators for senior diabetes patients receiving medical assistance.
