• Amends the Election Code to make Fox River Water Reclamation District trustees elected rather than appointed, beginning with the 2019 election.

• Requires nomination petitions for Fox River Water Reclamation District trustee candidates to be filed with the county clerk not more than 113 nor less than 106 days before the primary election.

• Establishes a 5-member board of elected trustees serving staggered 4-year terms, with 2 trustees elected in 2019 and 3 at the following election.

• Allows vacancies on the elected board to be filled by appointment by the board president with consent of board members, with the remainder of the unexpired term filled by election.

• Effective immediately upon passage.
