Honors General Wladyslaw Anders (1892-1970), a Polish military leader who joined the Polish Army in 1918 and attained the rank of General in 1934

Recognizes General Anders' World War II service, including his capture by Soviets, formation of the Polish 2nd Corps in exile, and leadership of the successful campaign to liberate Monte Cassino in May 1944

Requests the Illinois Department of Transportation erect plaques or signs at suitable locations along the memorial way, consistent with State and federal regulations

Directs that copies of the resolution be presented to General Anders' family, Niles Mayor Andrew Przybylo, and the Secretary of the Illinois Department of Transportation
