State Treasurer authorized to issue official commemorative medallions honoring Illinois's bicentennial on December 3, 2018, marking the state's 200th anniversary of admission to the Union.

State Treasurer shall contract for the production, marketing, distribution, and sale of the bicentennial medallions.

Authorization issued under the Commemorative Medallions Act (15 ILCS 555), which permits the State Treasurer to issue medallions commemorating popular contemporaneous events of statewide interest.

Resolution recognizes Illinois's 200-year history as a national and international crossroads and celebrates the state's contributions in agriculture, business, labor, politics, science, technology, and culture.
