Urges the Illinois Office of Tourism to conduct a feasibility study on linking seven golf courses into the Abraham Lincoln Golf Trail (ALGT): Annbriar (Waterloo), Gateway National (Madison), Governors Run (Carlyle), Kokopelli (Marion), Rend Lake Golf Resort (Whittington), Stone Creek Golf Club (Urbana), and Stonewolf Golf Club (Fairview Heights).

Study should evaluate electronic tee time scheduling, automated lodging reservations, 24/7 customer service assistance, staff training, promotion strategies, and licensing merchandise opportunities for the trail.

Designates the seven courses as phase one of the ALGT, with provisions to add additional golf courses in central and northern Illinois as the trail becomes operational.

Requests the feasibility study be completed by December 31, 2018.

Aims to boost tourism and revenue for Illinois state parks and lodges, modeled on successful golf trail programs in Alabama, Iowa, and Ohio.
