Sergeant Evans received three Army Achievement Medals, an Army Good Conduct Medal, a National Defense Service Medal, and numerous other decorations

Requests the Illinois Department of Transportation erect plaques or signs along the designated highway and directs that copies of the resolution be sent to Sergeant Evans's family and the Department of Transportation
