Acknowledges widespread sexual harassment and misconduct against women in Illinois government and politics, including legislators, lobbyists, and staffers.

Recognizes that existing sexual harassment policies and training in the General Assembly have not eliminated the culture of harassment that persists in Springfield.

Commits members of the General Assembly to work together to change the culture of sexual harassment in Springfield and throughout Illinois politics.

Pledges to challenge all elected officials, candidates, staffers, and participants in the democratic process who are culpable of harassment to do better during the upcoming election cycle.

Directs copies of the resolution be sent to all General Assembly members, the Illinois Congressional Delegation, and the President of the United States.
