Urges Congress to retain the Federal Historic Tax Credit (FHTC) in any tax reform legislation.

Notes that Illinois FHTC projects between 2002-2016 financed 269 projects generating over $3 billion in development and more than 45,000 jobs.

Identifies at-risk Illinois historic properties if FHTC is eliminated, including Lathrop Homes, Old Chicago Post Office, Old Cook County Hospital, and multiple buildings in cities including Batavia, Rockford, LaSalle, Moline, Peoria, and Belleville.

States that elimination of the federal credit would jeopardize Illinois's River Edge Historic Tax Credit program and revitalization projects in Aurora, Elgin, Peoria, and Rockford.

Directs copies of the resolution to be sent to President Trump, congressional leadership, and all members of the Illinois Congressional Delegation.
