Designates July 9, 2017 as "His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj Day" in Illinois to honor and welcome the sixth Guru of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Sanstha on his first visit to the United States as the organization's leader.

Recognizes the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Bartlett, inaugurated in 2004, as a center for spirituality and learning about Hindu culture, heritage, and religion serving thousands of visitors across the United States.

Acknowledges that His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj was appointed as the spiritual successor to His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj.

Notes that Guru Purnima, celebrated on July 9, 2017, is a day when millions of Hindus honor their spiritual and academic teachers.

Directs that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj as a symbol of respect and esteem.
