Notes that healthy classroom environments using social-emotional learning, trauma-informed teaching, and restorative justice are effective in combating trauma's adverse impacts, but educators lack necessary resources and training.

Expresses support for schools to obtain and sustain resources, training, and ongoing development to help entire school communities prioritize school climate and culture.

Directs delivery of the resolution to Chicago Public Schools, the State Board of Education, and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel.
