Encourages every Illinois school district and individual schools to explore and implement modern active shooter response training programs in collaboration with local law enforcement.

Specifically promotes the ALICE (Alert Lockdown Inform Counter Evacuate) training program, which has been implemented in over 4,200 K-12 schools and nearly 1,000 higher education institutions nationwide.

ALICE training provides option-based survival strategies including alertness, situation assessment, lockdown procedures, communication techniques, dynamic mitigation methods, and evacuation timing.

Directs delivery of this resolution to the Illinois State Board of Education, the Office of the Governor, and the Illinois General Assembly to facilitate statewide implementation of school safety programs.

Emphasizes collaboration between school administrators, teachers, parents, and law enforcement officials as essential to protecting students and staff from on-campus emergencies and violence.
