Congratulates Edward Hospital and DuPage Neonatology Associates on caring for their 2,000th set of multiples, born September 15, 2018 (twins Madison Josephine and Dylan Jeremiah Lange).

Since July 1, 1996, Edward Hospital has delivered 1,931 sets of twins, 64 sets of triplets, 4 sets of quadruplets, and 1 set of quintuplets.

Edward Hospital established a Level III NICU in 2000 (the highest status in the state) and expanded it in 2017 to 35 private rooms with 22 intensive care beds, each equipped with high-tech monitoring equipment and family amenities.

Mothers with multiples receive specialized Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) care at Edward Hospital, and DuPage Neonatology provides treatment for conditions including Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome and cord entanglement in multiples.

Congratulates all 2,000 families on the births of their multiple children and directs a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to Edward Hospital and DuPage Neonatology Associates.
