Expresses the Illinois House of Representatives' condolences for the death of Donald Leroy "Don" Thompson of Montgomery, who passed away on October 26, 2018.

Honors Thompson's military service as a Naval Aviator who served four years of active duty during World War II and 16 years of reserve duty, retiring at the rank of Lieutenant Commander in 1980.

Recognizes Thompson's 36 years of employment at Lyon Metal Products and extensive community involvement including memberships in Masonic lodges, the American Legion, military veterans organizations, and 20 years of volunteer service at Rush Copley Hospital.

Directs that a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to Thompson's family as an expression of condolences.
