Congratulates State Rep. David Harris on his retirement and distinguished service to the 53rd and 66th Legislative House Districts from 1983-1993 and 2011-2018.

Recognizes Harris's 18 years of service on the House Revenue & Finance Committee, including time as Republican Spokesperson, and his expertise in budgeting and appropriations.

Honors Harris's military service as Adjutant General of the Illinois National Guard (1999-2003) and Major General in the U.S. Army after 33 years of service, plus his 2005-2006 service in Iraq with the U.S. Department of State.
