Congratulates State Representative David S. Olsen for his distinguished service to the 81st Legislative District and the people of Illinois from mid-2016 to January 2019.

Recognizes Olsen's education at Downers Grove South High School (2007) and dual undergraduate degrees in finance and management from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he served as student body president and was a Rhodes Scholarship finalist.

Honors his legislative accomplishments including his first successful bill increasing hours required for Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund pension eligibility, landmark mosquito abatement district consolidation legislation, and service on multiple House committees.

Notes his prior service on Downers Grove Village Council (2013-2016), including as mayor pro tem (2015-2016), and his appointments to the College of DuPage Board of Trustees and Rare Diseases Commission.
