Recognizes her support for the All Kids insurance program, which currently covers over 1.6 million Illinois children with comprehensive, affordable health insurance regardless of immigration status or health condition.

Credits her work as a member and past co-chair of the Illinois Legislative Latino Caucus in advancing the Illinois DREAM Act and Illinois TRUST Act to support immigrant communities and protect safe spaces in schools, hospitals, and churches.

Acknowledges her multiple efforts to raise the minimum wage to ensure all Illinois residents receive a living wage, which increased consumer spending and economic growth while reducing income inequality.

Directs that a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to Rep. Soto as an expression of respect and esteem.
