Honors State Representative Carol Sente for over nine years of service in the Illinois General Assembly and thanks her for her dedicated service to the state and community.

Recognizes Sente's background as the daughter of Hungarian and Austrian immigrants and her education from Indiana University with master's coursework at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.

Acknowledges her professional experience as a small-business owner and former managing partner of SRBL Architects, as well as her role as former vice president of the Vernon Hills Park District Board.

Commends her advocacy for bipartisan cooperation in the General Assembly, her leadership as chairwoman of the Business Growth and Incentives Committee and Environment Committee, and her sponsorship of landmark legislation on school safety, economic growth, environmental stewardship, and first responder support.

Recognizes her formation and leadership of the bipartisan Small Business Owner Caucus and co-chairship of the Illinois Legislative Fire Caucus, along with recognition from advocacy organizations including the Lake County Underage Drinking and Drug Prevention Task Force and Illinois Association of Fire Protection Districts.
