Congratulates Jeffrey Berman on 30 years of distinguished service to the Village of Buffalo Grove.

Served as a Buffalo Grove Plan Commission member for nearly a decade, then was first elected to the Village Board in 1999 and served continuously until retirement, making him Buffalo Grove's longest-serving trustee.

Held multiple leadership positions including Chairman of the Village Zoning Ordinance Review Committee (2000-2002), Village President Pro Tem (2011-retirement), and Village Board liaison for legal and transportation policy issues.

Dedicated significant effort to transportation policy through roles including Vice Chairman of Citizens to Protect Quality of Life Through Better Transportation (1999-2004), Lake County Transportation Improvement Project Representative (1999-2003), and Metra Citizens Advisory Board member and Chairman (2001-2013).

Licensed attorney with a nationwide commercial litigation practice who has been a Buffalo Grove resident since 1988; holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from University of Illinois (1984) and Juris Doctorate from University of Illinois College of Law (1987).
