Illinois House of Representatives mourns the death of Dr. Robert B. Donaldson of Hazel Crest, who passed away on December 29, 2018

Dr. Donaldson retired from Governors State University after 34 years as a professor in the College of Business and Public Administration and served as Director of the Master of Public Administration Program

Dr. Donaldson was elected to the Hazel Crest Board of Trustees in 1989, elected Mayor of Hazel Crest in 2005, and reelected in 2009

Dr. Donaldson served on the Public Building Commission of Chicago, was a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, and served as President of the South Suburban Mayors and Managers Association from 2012 to 2013

House extends sincere condolences to Dr. Donaldson's wife Barbara, daughter Robyn, and other family members, with a suitable copy of the resolution to be presented to his family
