Prohibits the sale of imitation firearms in Illinois, defined as any BB device, toy gun, replica firearm, or device substantially similar in appearance to an existing firearm that would lead a reasonable person to perceive it as real.

Exempts nonfiring collector's replicas sold with display cases, spot marker guns over 10mm caliber, BB devices other than 6mm or 8mm caliber, and devices with bright solid colors or transparent materials.

Requires airsoft guns in 6mm or 8mm caliber to have federal blaze orange barrel rings plus fluorescent trigger guards and adhesive bands before sale (specifications vary for handguns versus rifles).

Makes selling an imitation firearm or non-compliant airsoft gun a Class A misdemeanor offense in Illinois.
