Amends the One Day Rest In Seven Act to exempt private Emergency Medical Services (EMS) employees from mandatory meal period requirements.

Exemption applies only to EMS employees licensed under the EMS Systems Act who are required to be on call during an entire 8-hour work period and are not local government employees.

Exempted EMS employees are permitted to eat a meal during their 8-hour work period while remaining on call.

Maintains existing exemptions for collective bargaining agreements and employees monitoring individuals with developmental disabilities or mental illness.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
