IL SB0607

Amends the Criminal Code to exempt persons with a valid Firearm Owner's Identification Card from the prohibition on possessing switchblade knives.

Also exempts persons and entities engaged in the business of selling or manufacturing switchblade knives from the switchblade prohibition.

Retains all other unlawful weapons restrictions, including prohibitions on automatic knives, ballistic knives, and other dangerous weapons.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
