• Expands dental and periodontal prevention and treatment services under Illinois Medical Assistance to residents of long-term care facilities and adults with permanent disabilities occurring before age 21.

• Requires the Department of Healthcare and Family Services to provide dental services and prescription eyeglasses to veterans and their dependents on or after July 1, 2017, if the veteran served over 180 days on active duty and was not dishonorably discharged.

• Effective immediately upon passage.
