Changes the repeal date of the Illinois Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Practice Act from January 1, 2018 to January 1, 2028 under the Regulatory Sunset Act.

Expands the scope of audiology practice to include cerumen removal, neurophysiologic intraoperative monitoring of cranial nerves, and basic health screenings.

Allows licensed audiologists and speech-language pathologists to conduct remote practice using video conferencing, with telehealth services subject to the same standard of care as in-person services.

Permits speech-language pathology assistants to have a bachelor's degree instead of requiring only an associate degree, provided they complete equivalent coursework meeting minimum requirements.

Increases the temporary license period for speech-language pathologists from 12 months to 18 months and adds continuing education requirements including ethics training for renewal of licenses.
