Amends the Line of Duty Compensation Act to expand the definition of "killed in the line of duty" for Armed Forces members to include Operation Freedom's Sentinel, Operation New Dawn, and Operation Inherent Resolve in addition to existing operations.

Maintains existing coverage for law enforcement officers, firefighters, civil defense workers, paramedics, and chaplains killed in the line of duty, with specific criteria requiring death within one year of injury from violence or accidental causes.

Clarifies that Department of Corrections and Department of Juvenile Justice employees are covered only when deaths result from direct or indirect willful acts by inmates, wards, parolees, or other confined persons.

Specifies that the Attorney General bears the burden of proving willful misconduct or intoxication as grounds to exclude a death from line of duty compensation eligibility.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
