SB1267 - Railroad Supplier Diversity Act

• Allows Class I railroad companies to voluntarily submit annual reports to the Illinois Commerce Commission by April 15 each year containing supplier diversity information and data from the Public Utilities Act

• Requires reports to include state-specific data on supplier diversity practices and may include national supplier diversity reports

• Mandates the Illinois Commerce Commission hold an annual public workshop to assess supplier diversity among railroad companies and identify solutions to structural barriers

• Workshop must include testimony from participating railroad companies, subject matter experts, and advocates, and cannot be scheduled on the same date as other Commission workshops
