IL SB1303

Eliminates the prohibition on concealed carry licensees carrying firearms on buses, trains, and other forms of public transportation paid for in whole or in part with public funds.

Removes the restriction on carrying firearms in buildings, real property, and parking areas under the control of public transportation facilities that receive public funding.

Maintains all other prohibited areas for concealed carry, including schools, courthouses, hospitals, universities, airports, and other specified locations.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
