Extends the repeal date of the Acupuncture Practice Act from January 1, 2018 to January 1, 2028 under the Regulatory Sunset Act.

Changes the short title to the "Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine Practice Act" and expands the definition of acupuncture to include East Asian medicine practices such as herbal remedies, supplements, manual methods, exercise, and diet.

Allows unlicensed acupuncturists from other states or countries to practice during declared states of emergency for up to 2 consecutive weeks or 30 days total per calendar year.

Modifies licensure requirements to allow the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation to issue licenses based on "Diplomate of Acupuncture" or "Diplomate of Oriental Medicine" credentials from the National Certification Commission rather than requiring passage of an examination.

Removes provisions allowing physicians or dentists to refer patients by written order to acupuncturists while maintaining management of the patient.
